Misty morning friends
Can you hear the John Denver song in the background? :D
Inspired by a request to paint a cow, I painted this oil painting of cows in a field. Today when I was trying to put a name to it, John Denver popped into my head. Yes, for real. I knew it wasn't supposed to be 'Country Roads' -- that's West Virginia and we're in Wisconsin. Then Google showed me the way to 'Back Home Again' and there it was.
Sometimes this old farm feels like a long lost friend... Bam! Cows. lol
I suppose that farms will always do that for some of us. I have a collector who loves my little barn paintings. Her heart is clearly back on the farm, so I told her that she is my 'barn friend'. (I meet some of the nicest people!)
